INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE USE OF COOKIES
*This website uses technical cookies to ensure proper operation of procedures and to improve your experience when using online applications. This document provides information on the use of cookies and similar technologies, how they are used by the site and how to manage them.
Definitions
Cookies are small text files that sites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored and then sent back to the same sites the next time they visit. Cookies from so-called “third parties” are set by a website other than the one the user is visiting. This is because on each site there may be elements (images, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages in other domains, etc.) that reside on servers other than that of the site being visited.
Types of cookies
There are different categories of cookies that can be distinguished depending on how they are used and their characteristics:
– Technical cookies. Technical cookies are those used only to “implement the transmission of communications over an electronic communications network or to the extent strictly necessary for one of the company’s service providers to send information explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service”. They are not used for any other purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or webmaster. Cookies can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website; cookie analytics, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the webmaster to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and on how they visit the website itself; function cookies, which allow users to navigate according to a series of selected criteria to improve the service they receive. The installation of such cookies does not require the prior consent of the users, notwithstanding the obligation to provide information pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, which the website operator may provide in the manner it deems most appropriate, only if such devices are used.
– Profiling cookies These cookies are designed to create user profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while navigating the web. Because of the particular invasiveness that such devices may have in the private sphere of users, European and Italian legislation requires that the user be adequately informed about their use and that they express their valid consent. The law has provided that “the storage of information on the terminal device of a contractor or user, or access to information already stored is permitted only on condition that the contractor or user has given his or her consent after having been informed in the simplified manner pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679”. This site does not use profiling cookies.
Third Party Cookies
By visiting this website you may receive cookies from sites operated by other organizations (“third parties”). An example is the presence of “social plugins” for Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or LinkedIn, or embedded multimedia content display systems such as YouTube or Flickr. These are parts generated directly by these sites and embedded into the web page of the host site being visited. The presence of these plugins leads to the transmission of cookies from and to all the sites operated by third parties. The management of information collected by “third parties” is governed by the relevant information notice, which we ask you to examine. To ensure greater transparency and convenience, below are the web addresses of the different information notices and methods for managing cookies.

Cookie analytics
Web Trends
For the sole purpose of monitoring and improving the performance of our website we use a commercial statistical analysis product that tracks site accesses. This product may use cookies, both permanent and non-permanent, to collect statistical information on users and “unique visitors” to the site. Cookies, defined as “Unique Visitor Cookies”, contain an alphanumeric code that identifies the browsing computer, but collects no personal data.
Google Analytics
The site also includes components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). These cookies are used only for monitoring and improving the performance of the site. For additional information, please, click the link below:

Users can selectively disable Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on your browser. To disable Google Analytics, please, click the link below:

Duration of cookies
Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or a logout command is executed. Other cookies “survive” the closing of the browser and are also available the next time the user visits. These are called persistent cookies and their duration is fixed by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases an expiration date is set; in other cases the duration is unlimited.
Cookie Management
Users can decide whether or not to accept cookies using their browser settings.
Caution: total or partial disabling of technical cookies may compromise optimal use of the website.
Disabling “third party” cookies will not affect your browsing experience in any way.
Settings can be defined specifically for different websites and web applications. Furthermore, browsers allow you to define different settings for “proprietary” and “third party” cookies. As an example, in Firefox, using the menu Tools->Options->Privacy, you can access a control panel where you can define whether or not to accept different types of cookies and remove them. On the Internet you can easily find documentation on how to set the rules for managing cookies for your browser, for example, below are some links for the main browsers:
